I am featured in an Episode of P.L.A.C.E.S. during the 2005-2006 season. This remarkable series of more than 60 poets to date, is filmed and produced by James Moore (left) and Philip Hasouris(right). Kent Thomposon has a program on CCTV dedicated to Cambridge poetry and I am featured in a full episode based on my March 30th, 2005 feature at the Cantab Lounge.

I'm really excited about both of these projects and very grateful to the videographers and producers for their chosing to feature my poetry in their programming.

Somerville Open Studios at Vining Law on Broadway and Artists Choice show in April

I was asked by the organizers of Stone Soup at Out of the Blue Gallery to Introduce Jack McCarthy. I was such a warm and intimate evening and Jack graced us with his lastest chapbook "DisGrace Notes." I really hope he'll be the poet Laureate one day. I wish there was a popular vote for that. I'll be there will be tiny poems written on every hanging chad...

June 2007

I will be at the Star Island Conference for the Arts the third week of June. There is a magnificent open mike on Thursday afternoon and a talent show on Friday night. Usually I'm in both in one way or another. There is also a fantastic art auction as well.

The last week of June, I will be leading the Writing Workshop at the Natural History Conference. It's always a week to treasure. There are participants from 35 to 95! Last year they roasted me at the talent show, I had no idea what they were up to. What a hoot! I even got a handbag made out of fishing net with all their poems in it!

I will be leading Candelight Chapel Services both weeks. Phew!

I really want to go to Firefly this year, but it might have to wait until next year...

I may be leading a Poetry Sunday service at the Unitarian Universalist church of Medford.

My Poem "Last Jazz" as recorded at the National Poetry Slam "Peace Reading" in ABQ New Mexico was featured on Public Radio KUNM's program "Peace Talks"

"Peace Talks" was rebroad cast on WGBH Boston in April 2007. I found this out when a photographer friend of mine said he heard me on the radio!

AC Valdez has recorded some of my pieces for his this American Lifeish Poetry series "Stories for Lunch" for radio broadcast. I recorded these serendipitously in Austin, TX and I had French Onion soup for a late lunch. He had boneless Buffalo Wings, which he graciously shared.
